CORRODED WORKS
IMPERFECT.
RAW. TRUE.
The work remains open to time.
My works are left unsealed. Corrosion continues, colour shifts, and the surface can crack, break or lift. I allow these processes to remain active.
Fracture and the loosening of layers belong to the work. They are intended expressions of its material life. Each surface follows its own path, beyond the moment of making.
Decay becomes part of creation. The image you meet today is one moment in an ongoing life.
IN THE FLOW OF NATURE.
GROWTH. WEATHERING. RENEWAL.
The roots of my practice lie in the cycles of nature. Emergence, ageing, dissolution and renewal. What is new becomes old. What is old becomes the beginning of another form. Nothing holds its shape forever. I bring these rhythms into the surface. Time enters the work and follows its own course.
WE COME AND GO. TRACES REMAIN.
We come and go. What we touch carries something of us. A mark can outlast a gesture. An absence can become visible. I am drawn to the way matter holds these quiet traces. In my work, impermanence becomes something we can encounter: a line that breaks, an edge that loosens, a colour that has moved away from its beginning. There is room here for vulnerability, for uncertainty, and for the beauty of a form still finding itself.
